    The first thing you have to do is turn off the water supply by closing the shut-off valve located below the basin. You have to make sure that you turn off the supply of water not only to the old basin but also to any other fixtures like the showers and other hot water systems. Then, remove the old Nivito with the help of a basin wrench. In most cases, there will be a threaded end with a hook on each end. Pull the basin wrench off and then pull the nut thread with the hook on the outer side of the faucet pipe.
