Is our mascara running?

steamy

Jury is out as to whether it was the extremely steamy conditions that made our make-up run during this morning's working bee or Bones' ultra bright shirt or Dave's big guns. Either way our crew of 16 dedicated troopers battled through the lower section of Wobbegong and finished up drenched in sweaty nectar. We tended to numerous bermed edges that trapped big volumes of water from recent rains. Those edges helped create big trenches in the trail which erode badly and are tough to ride. A couple of clean cut lads also gave the trail-side grass a trim - cop that you itchy grasses! All together this morning's sweaty affair will leave a big section of Wobbegong draining a whole heap better and riding all the more sweeter.

Big thanks to everyone that got up early and helped out. Especially great meeting a couple of members who were new to the club and new to trail work - look forward to seeing you again for some dig-dig. Well done everyone - great effort!
