What a great problem for us to have...
...We're running short of tools for the working bee!
This morning saw the biggest rollup at a Douglas working bee for a very long time (ever?) as 27 of your riding buddies steeled themselves for a sweaty affair on Easy Street - she needed some tender lovin'. With support for the working bee exceeding our expectations, a few of the lucky ones got to march up to Beefwood with Mozzy to chase up some tools and dish out some well needed wet season preparations for the track. Back on Easy Street, the larger groups focussed on the areas lower down on the hill, de-berming to improve drainage, applying some chemical soil stabiliser, and carrying out some very valuable rock repairs. It's amazing how much we can achieve with a large group of volunteers.
Here's a taste of the great work done by a very generous, dedicated bunch of energetic kids, lovely ladies and burly blokes:

Better hit the trails and check out their handy work in person. Very big congratulations to today's crew for a job well done:
