Come for a ride on Boulder Dash

New_trail_-_Easy_to_Ergon

If you're planning a ride at Douglas anytime soon, go and check out the new Blue Square trail. It's a two-way trail which links Easy Street and Scrub Pythons. The trail weaves in and around some awesome rock features below the powerline tower and even includes some rock obstacles to step over in the trail tread itself. If you're looking for a trail with a touch more technical challenge than the likes of Easy Street or just wanting to explore that southern end of the Douglas Reserve, watch this clip then go out for your own test ride:

Some finishing touches are still needed to complete the trail. You might notice some light, plastic rakes on side of trail. If you'd like to help on your next ride, grab a rake and lightly clear some of the loose material on the tread surface, raking off towards the outer edge of the trail. Also, if you're keen on getting dirty and building some A-line options (rock features, wooden ladders etc) get in touch with the TBC to chat about your ideas. Contact Lee especiallly, he loves people talking dirty to him.
