Townsville Rockwheelers Mountain Bike Club would like to thank you for supporting this year’s event, our 11th Mike Carney Toyota Paluma Push.  With the track ready and a record field, this year will be the ‘hootiest of rides' ever to hit Paluma and Hidden Valley.  Some important final details are below to help things run smoothly so have a great day:

Saturday 21st July 

Rider Pack Pick Up
11.00am to 1.00pm: Avoid the Sunday morning rush in Paluma and pick up the rider pack (goodies bag), race plate and your Paluma Push T-Shirt at BNG Sports. BNG Sports are located at:
Shop 17 Domain Central, 103 Duckworth Street, Garbutt.

Sunday 22nd July

Paluma Car Parking:
Parking will commence at the Hidden Valley side of Paluma so drive through and be directed by the Parking Marshals who will commence from 6.00am. DO NOT park in driveways.

Hidden Valley Parking:
Parking Marshals will also be at Hidden Valley Cabins for those doing the early bus transfer, car shuffle or supporters travelling to Hidden Valley after the start at Paluma. CHECK THIS PAGE for bus time table, car shuffle options and allow plenty of time to get back to the start.

Rider Pack Pick Up:
For those unable to pick up rider packs from BNG Sports on the Saturday (coming from out of town, working etc), your packs and race plate etc can be picked up at the Paluma Community Centre between 7.00am and 8.15am.

Rider Briefing:
8.45am at Paluma Community Centre. All riders must attend and listen.

Start:
at the Paluma Community Centre.
Competition category: 9.00am 
Recreation Category: 9.30am

Race Distances:
Competition Course 65km, Recreation Course 42km

Official Photographer:
Make sure you have your “I’m not really in any pain" face on when you ride past the official photographers from Reflex Photography.

Finish Time:
Up to you, but riders may be directed by Checkpoint Marshals towards Hidden Valley if they look like taking all night.  The aim will be to have all rider back in time for the presentation at 2.00pm.
Enjoy a relaxing time on the lawns at the Hidden Valley Cabins, a BBQ lunch (complimentary of Rockwheelers), a drink, and cheer on the others as they come in.

Presentations: 2.00pm.
