It's cooler to ride at night...

Beat the heat and keep those legs turning over on Thursdays with a ride at Ross Dam - AT NIGHT! and enjoy the tranquil trails around Lake Ross.

New to night riding? This ride is perfect for you. The trails are smoother than Douglas so you can test out your new lights with the confidence that comes from easier trails. And the main group goes slow so you can plod along and not get left in the dark.

Not a Rockwheelers member? Just bring $5 (correct change please) and you can buy a Day Licence to join the ride.

When: Tonight, 9th December

Time: 730pm, sharp

Where: meet in the car park at Ross Dam, Kelso for sign-ins

Post your enquiries on the forum or flick an email thru. In case of rainy weather, check the forum before heading out to the Dam.

If >10mm at Black Weir or Ross River Dam, trails too wet. Leave 6-8 hours sunshine to dry before riding Douglas or Ross Dam or you may damage the trails.

Once you've had a blast riding Rockwheelers' trails and events

...take a road trip from Townsville to join a mountain bike ride with our friends in other parts of North Queensland.
