YOU RISK FINES AT ROSS DAM

shaking_finger

TAKE SPECIAL NOTE...

Ross Dam is closed to public access. You cannot ride the trails out there whenever you want. If you are caught by the rangers they will fine you $200.

Rockwheelers holds a special access permit to use the trails at Ross Dam for it's events, races and social rides. This permits allows the club to seek approval from Dam management, in advance, for its members to ride there from time to time. Once approval is granted, Rockwheelers will advertise on the website Home page or Forum with dates and times of the ride.

Simply being a member of Rockwheelers doesn't give you the right to go riding at the Dam whenever you want. Members and insured guests can only ride there during an approved Rockwheelers event, race or social ride.

This reminder comes after a rider was caught by a Ranger at the Dam on Sunday 19th Sept, strangely, the day after an approved Rockwheelers social ride.

Thanks in advance for your co-operation.

Regards,

Your Nan
