Where to ride
Fancy a sweet ride thru lush World Heritage listed rainforest around a glistening Paluma Dam?
Maybe you're planning on competing in the Mike Carney Toyota Paluma Push Competition Class and would like to see for yourself one of the gorgeous sections on the course that the Recreational riders don't ride?
Jump on this ride and join the good times with Rockwheelers Social riders.

Start Options:
Drive up the dirt road to Paluma Dam and park in the public car park; or

Parking: only very limited parking available at Paluma Dam and Birthday Creek. Please help us manage parking by emailing your intention to park near the Dam/BirthDay Creek when you RSVP to the email below. We will update the website if all the spots have been taken via RSVPs. Plenty of parking back at Paluma Village for those riding up to the Dam.
More details about the ride location: check out our PLACES TO RIDE IN TOWNSVILLE page.
Who can attend: All riders are welcome. Note, some of the steeper pinch climbs and tricky washed out gullys will challenge novice riders. So be prepared to cover your brakes and walk many sections. Intermediate-Advanced riders who are comfortable riding all the trails at Douglas Mountain Bike Reserve should get their sweet spots hit just nicely.
