Weekly beginners rides at Town Common from Sunday 15th Jan, 2012 until the big rains make things too wet.
Ride start time: Sundays, 400pm
Parking: Drive along Palleranda road to left turn to golf club. Just past the golf club entrance is a big autoclosing gate. This is the entrance to the common. PARK OUTSIDE just in case you make it back late as it is autoclosing on a timer.

Ride rules:

ALL riders presenting to ride MUST be Rockwheelers members already and have MTBA licence. NO day licences or joining at the ride.

This is a slow controlled ride. We ride with a lead and sweep rider and all riders must ride between these. NO boy racers....and this is NOT a race practice.

We stop at points to all regroup usually at turnoffs etc.

NO children under 18 UNLESS accompanied by an adult who is totally responsible for them. Children MUST also be club members and have a MTBA licence.
- All riders must carry sufficient water and spares to get them home in case of flats.
- Non beginner/social riders wishing to accompany friends, relatives loved ones are welcome PROVIDING they adhere to the rules but will be expected to assist others where necessary.
- All riders to sign in and sign out on the attendance sheet.
