Paluma Push 2019 – Volunteers & Coordinators Needed

Townsville Rockwheelers is needing enthusiastic and motivated volunteers to help organize the upcoming Paluma Push in July. It’s a huge job and many hands make light work.
 
There is a variety of positions available and some roles can be job shared with a friend.  Hayley and Tony will be on hand to outline what needs to be done and give direction as required.
 
Some of the roles to be filled on the Paluma Push Sub-Committee are:

Marketing Coordinator
Registrations Coordinator
Prizes/Medal Presentation Coordinator
Catering Coordinator
Volunteer Coordinator
Sound & PA Coordinator
Site & Facilities Manager
Safety & Emergency Coordinator
 Some of these roles will require an assistant and/or a couple of helpers so if you don’t think you will be able to look after a “whole department”, you might be able to provide some assistance in a specific area.
 
If you are holding back from getting involved because you want to race on the day, a solution would have a friend, husband, wife, mother or father fill in for you on the day. You organize everything prior race day and your helpers can run your area on the day. Get in touch to discuss.
