On Wednesday 10th July photographers/videographers will be at Douglas Mountain Bike Reserve to make some content for the State Government.
We’re looking for some members (both adults and kids) to participate to help promote biking in our region either at Douglas on Wednesday morning, or Pallarenda/Strand after lunch.

From the team:
“All up, we’re making five videos and taking lots of photos to contribute to the Queensland Cycling Strategy, and the update to the Queensland State of Cycling Report for the Department of Transport and Main Roads. They’ll end up on the department’s website and their social media, and are aimed at the public/people interested in cycling. Bits and pieces of what we shoot in Townsville will end up in most of the videos, but will largely contribute to one themed around riding for recreation.
We’re looking to film and take photos of a couple of families in the Douglas Mountain Bike Reserve on the morning of Wednesday 10 July, maybe looking at turning up around 8:30am to start shooting at 9am, and go through til early afternoon. We’d also be looking for at least one enthusiastic person to speak on camera.
Then we’re also looking for some people to join us down at the Strand and/or Pallarenda esplanades after lunch. We can be pretty flexible depending on people’s availability. “
