Hillsborough Station Adventure Ride Weekend

October 14, 2017

PLEASE READ ALL DETAIL AS SMALL COST INVOLVED.

This ride weekend is just what the Dr ordered.
Over a day and a half, we will explore Hillsborough Station a working Cattle station 1hr 30min west of Townsville (Ayr – Ravenswood rd). A map will be posted later.
Day one (Saturday) will be an afternoon ride and return during the evening before your dinner. So come out before sign on to set your camp area up.
Day two (Sunday) we will showcase a couple of the station’s hidden gems before packing up and heading home.

Hillsborough station has some excellent facilities for camping, powered sites ($20 p/n) and unpowered sites ($15 p/n). A fully enclosed camp kitchen with equipment (own gas required for BBQs) a few on site aircon accom rooms and showers and toilet facilities.
Staying the night can be arranged via the station manager Karin and Kale on ph 07 47849178 NOT Rockwheeles.
Those that only wish to come for the main ride on Sunday, there is a very small cost for the access for the day of $5 per person but kids under 12 are free. This fee is included in the overnight site cost for those that are staying Saturday night. This fee allows full you access to toilets/ showers and kitchen (Which is pretty fair I think).
