Power

  • Not available for individual rider's camps
  • Private generators at camp sites are not permitted
  • A limited power supply will be available in the quarry shed for light battery recharging.

Battery Recharging

Come prepared!! You’ll be riding in the dark for about 11 hours!  We strongly suggest that you ensure you have enough power to get you through the night or consider the purchase of a car lighter charger.  Alternatively, when you run out of light you could simply stop riding and crack open a coldie.

A battery recharging facility with limited capacity will be available at the quarry hut.  This will be available on a first in, first served basis.

The battery recharging station will consist of a bay of power boards. ie BYO charger

First Aid and Emergencies

This event is heavily based on riders being self reliant.

Approximately four riders will be nominated first aid officers/marshals.  However they will be participating and hence mobile.

There will be no official first aid officers permanently located at the transition area.

There will be no marshals permanently on course.

All riders (and non-riders in the transition area) are to assist any fellow rider in need (whether it is on the course or within the transition area).

An emergency phone will be available at the quarry hut for use in an emergency.
